The Zonin family has been making wine since 1821 and currently operates Italy’s largest privately owned vineyard and winemaking complex. The house produces 25 million bottles and exports its wines to 69 countries. To increase their presence in the chinese market, we were requested to develop concept brands for their wines that transmit the idea of “Italian” to the chinese audiences.
ITALIANI brand relates each wine with an italian region and the wine gets the name from the way its inhabitants are called. ITALIANI wine rage targets mid-age consumers. The wines are produced on the region they are named after (Sicily, Venice and Tuscany).
The labels are inspired in the image that Zonin used for their “Americano” Vermouth in the 50s.
