Sennheiser is a family-owned German audio company specializing in the design and production of high fidelity products.

In 2014, they created a music label, Sennheiser Media, to record and promote local Chinese and international artists.

We were assigned to design the brand identity for their new label that followed the core branding, incorporated the compact logo of the company and was unique at the same time.

We developed an identity using the brand’s corporate typography and their core shape in a different way.

The result is a new brand that, being inside Sennheiser’s universe, has it’s own personality.

On the development of the project, we also created a code to apply the new brand on CDs and other media with the aim of integration. The mark used adapts its color to the support avoiding a too invasive feeling.

We also designed the first CD produced by Sennheiser Media: A Bu Trio – 88 Tones of Black and White
