El Ocho is a Cocktail bar that focuses on crafted cocktails.
All the drinks are made with fresh fruits, natural sugar, homemade syrups and high quality spirits. Every cocktail is a personal creation from the bartender.

We created the identity & graphic image, and designed all the marketing collaterals, F&B applications and signage. To deliver the idea of hand crafted cocktails, we used tailor made illustrations of flowers, birds, butterflies and plants that conform the funky graphic universe. The classy night ambient and the cool bar vibe is transmitted by the colors: black with a touch of fluorescent yellow, pink and green.

The name is a different approach to the chinese idea of luck, represented by their lucky number, eight, so overused in China’s nightlife scene for it’s other meaning: Bar. Our version is in spanish -ocho means eight- and includes the “el” article that we add to most of el Willy Group venues. The slogan includes a link to el Willy group’s first -and famous- cocktail bar: el C√≥ctel.

The logo is designed using Clarendon bold typeface (Robert Besley, 1845).
The cool illustrations were hand made by Veronica Ballart Lija.
